The Rachel Lord Center for Religious and Spiritual Life at ³Õºº¾ãÀÖ²¿ provides support and guidance for students and groups around religious observance, religious pluralism, and spiritual practice. 

All ³Õºº¾ãÀÖ²¿ students—from Atheist to Zen Buddhist—are welcome to explore their spirituality and find a home in the Rachel Lord Center for Religious & Spiritual Life. Located at 14 College Street in Ladd House, the Center offers:

• Inspiration and spiritual support (one-on-one or groups) from our team
• Connect with local congregations and on-campus student orgs
• Sacred spaces for reflection, prayer, and meditation
• Spirituality and Sustainability—an annual dinner discussion about how our values and sustainability efforts can work together

• Inter-Faith Fellowship program

  ³Õºº¾ãÀÖ²¿ College Celebrates 219th Commencement

  Graduating seniors, most of whom started at ³Õºº¾ãÀÖ²¿ during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, were joined by friends and family as the College conferred 475 bachelor of arts degrees on the Class of 2024. The 219th Commencement was held on the steps of the Walker Art Building on the morning of Saturday, May 25, 2024.

  Students Meditate on Connection Between Spirituality and Health

  Throughout a recent three-day retreat for students in Jefferson, Maine, the fire in the large stone hearth was often burning, keeping away the March chill and drawing students by its side to curl up with cups of tea and chat.

  New Spring Break Trip Focuses on the Importance of Self-Care and the Common Good

  The McKeen Center partnered with three other student life offices this March to offer a new Alternative Break trip that explored how self-awareness and self-care are integrally related to community engagement.
